May 2023 Kit: Oregon Moss Shawl

Our May kit of the month is for our crocheters. Oregon Moss Shawl, by Megan Parrish, looks like it would make a great sarong this summer, and our brand new yarn Footprints is a perfect fit!

About the yarn:
FOOTPRINTS is a phenomenal fantasy sock yarn. With a length of 400 metres, you can create the most beautiful socks. The quality consists of 45% cotton, 42% virgin wool superwash, and 13% polyamide. This means that the socks are breathable, easy to wash and extra strong.

About the pattern, from the designer:
This crocheted, triangular, neck-down shawl celebrates moss - drizzly Oregon’s omnipresent mainstay. A variety of v-stitch patterns combine to emulate the texture of moss and the soft, serene, yet vibrantly alive atmosphere it lends to wooded places on a grey spring day.
