Maracas Bowls PATTERN
When a friend wants a set of rainbow bowls and you just can’t find anything that grabs you, what do you do? Design a set! These bowls were designed for my sweet friend Leyla, who knew exactly what she wanted that we just couldn’t find. They are created using yarn held double; you switch out the next color in the spectrum for the next bowl in the set. Nesting makes for easy storage, but why would you want to?! They are a gorgeous addition to any kitchen, bathroom, or windowsill.
Stitches: Ch, sl st, sc, bpsc (back post single crochet)
Yarn: Worsted (#4) cotton. Yardage varies for each color, but I designed them so you would only need one ball each if using WeCrochet’s Dishie, at 190 yards/ball.
Shown in: Fiesta Red, Clementine, Creme Brulee, Jalapeno, Azure, Blue, and Eggplant
Hook: J10
Sizes: smallest bowl: 3” across, largest bowl: 5.5” across
This listing is for a crochet pattern ONLY. This is a .pdf file, not a finished item. All pattern sales final.
